MAJ’s Services was founded by Christopher Maj in 1998 and was further incorporated in 2003.

Our company specializes in a variety of erosion control measures such as silt fences, tree protection fences, inlet protection, and restoration work. We also offer weekly site inspections, vacant lot mowing, site clearing and clean up, stump grinding, retention pond maintenance, garage and basement winter enclosures with heat, and general labor site services. No matter the job, our trained staff can help customize a maintenance program to fit your needs throughout the duration of your project.

Company owner Christopher Maj has been in the construction industry for over 30 years and has experience working in virtually all aspects of construction. Over the years, Chris and his wife Danielle have successfully brought the company from a staff of two to more than a dozen, effectively servicing customers all over the state of Michigan and expanding their company’s outreach daily.

Equipment began with one bobcat, dump trailer, and a dump truck and blossomed to an extensive equipment list including a Bobcat skid steer, five trenching machines, a mini excavator, two diamond bit frost cutting wheels to use for winter installation, a tractor with brush hog and batwing attachments, three Altoz zero turn mowers, and a fleet of seven trucks. All aspects of the operation are personally supervised by Chris and Danielle, who work hard to maintain a personal relationship with their customers and employees.

Maj’s Services has worked with many local companies on numerous projects and is known for our superb customer service and on-the-job performance. Some of our current customer base includes Toll Brothers Homes & Land Development, Lombardo Homes and Land Development, Cranbrook Custom Homes, Robertson Brothers, Miller Brothers Construction, and Allen Edwin Homes. MAJ’s Services is also contracted with Oakland County for enforcement of its soil erosion program.

As a company, we are continuously developing our knowledge base on soil erosion control and management so we can better serve our customers in the most effective way possible. We are proud that the State of Michigan Department of Transportation has recognized our company as one that has met and exceeded the MDOT standards, and we look forward to the progress we will make in the years to come.
